What a day!

Driving into Villeseque
Lunch at SFYI after the graduation

Today was graduation day at Southern France Institute. This is a very supportive and loving environment. The students are all very open and willing to talk. Most of the students are GAP students who needed extra time to get ready for college. Three students graduated from high school.

This region is all vineyards. The people live in small villages and then drive out to work in their vineyards. I guess it's grape growing time, since no one is walking around in the vineyards.
There are small villages and a lot of open land with low grape trees. To get to Villeseque, you drive through vineyards and then through a rocky hill area with high stone on either side of the winding road and rock tunnel that looks like it was carved by hand (or trolls!). When you pass through the tunnel, it feels like you are entering a different world. When you turn the corner to enter Villeseque you look up and below the old village, you see the modern power windmills up on the hills.
