Travels with Leigh, Phillip, and Dani: Dani is here!

Don't Dani and Phillip look like world travelers?

Phillip and I are getting to be a good traveling team. This morning we left early and took the RER train to CDG airport to pick up Dani. We were a little confused by the RER, but figured it out. The RER was really crowded and we decided that we would not want to take it with our suitcases. Good to figure out. Even though Rick Steve says it's the way to get to the airport, it's not going to be our choice. Give me the door-to-door taxi. Our suitcases are too hard to pull down narrow streets.

We met Dani in front of the Sheraton Hotel at the airport. Right where we had decided! We are organized. We took a taxi back and arranged with the taxi driver - Zac - to come back to pick us up Friday morning when Phillip has to go to the airport. I have my fingers crossed about that.

Then it was a day of sightseeing! Cafe lunch, Notre Dame, bus tour to Eiffel tower. The bus tours are awful!!!! But we were too tired to walk. Now we are back in the apartment - all of us exhausted. This will be an early night. Dani looks great and doesn't seem
disoriented at all - a world traveler!!!

We would have had to walk a very long way to get a photo that showed Phillip and Dani with the entire tower in the picture. It was a rainy, drizzley, damp day.
